| A native of Indiana and a Purdue University graduate, Linda gave up her career as an elementary school teacher to pursue a long-time dream of writing. After having a series of children's short stories published, she turned to her true love, romance. Her sixth historial romance, BELOVED PROTECTOR, waws released in November, 2001. Her seventh novel is set in Ireland in the 1890's and will be a Berkley release in the fall of 2002.|
As author, wife, mother and stepmother, Linda's personal philosophy revolves around the three E's: Enjoy life, Exercise your body and mind; and, Eat chocolate (preferrably Ghiradelli dark). Her other interests include aerobic walking, traveling, broadway and pop music, reading and of course, her very favorite, telling stories. She finds the research for her historicals fascinating, but even more, she loves creating characters with deep passions and dark secrets.
As an Irishman, Linda has always been a true believer in romance. She and husband Jim were married at sunset along the ocean in Key West, Florida, where they now reside for part of the year. The rest of their time is spent at their Indiana home, and in Chicago.
