| Virginia Brown (aka Emma Harrington) published her first book in 1984, and since that time, she has written over fifty books. While the lady has interests in many genres, she chose the medieval period for her love of dashing knights and brave heroines. In October 2003, Romantic Times Magazine presented her with her latest award, a Lifetime Achievement Award for Historical Adventure for her medieval novels written as Juliana Garnett.
Ms. Brown recently moved back to Memphis Tennessee, where she lives with a large menagerie of animals and does rescue work for lost, stray, and abandoned cats and dogs whenever possible.
And on Wednesday nights, you'll find Ms Brown glued to the television watching her favorite program, THE OC. No writing is done during that show!
She has many other interests in life, particularly the welfare of animals. Below are some links for those of you who share her love for our furred and feathered friends. If you feel moved to send donations to any of the nonprofit animal sanctuaries, your kindness and generosity will be greatly appreciated.
