Unlikely Duchess, An
by: Mary Balogh

Signet Regency, October 1990

Josephine Middleton, faced with an arranged marriage to the Duke of Mitford, who has a reputation as a libertine, decides to run away to her aunt's. However, on the journey there she is rescued from an attacker by Mr. Paul Villiers. He quickly becomes her unwilling accomplice as she sets off in pursuit of the villain and her lost jewels. What she does not realize is that her hero's full name is Paul Villiers, Duke of Mitford. The book is a farce.
